The objective of the lecture is to allow student to develop sound programming skills for solving common problem.


Stressing structured programming and modular design, pseudocode is used as the major program design technique. These will include defining diagram, desk checking technique for a solution algorithm, flowchart for complex problem, decision table, etc.
Language-independent explanations provide a strong foundation in program design problem solving. However, in the last few classess, C programming language will be introduced.
